CD Projekt Red co-CEO Michał Nowakowski told PAP Biznes the studio "definitely" doesn't want a straight film adaptation of the game. The live-action Paramount movie, produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura with CD Projekt Red, will tell a story set in the Cyberpunk world instead of a one-to-one version of the game's plot. It's the same approach that worked for Edgerunners, which returns to Netflix October 20.
